Event volunteers are the backbone of the events team. Without them, we would not be able to host and participate in as many events as we currently do. Volunteers help with all aspects of the event preparation, running the events, and helping to pack-down when it's all over.

Our events currently include the following:

• fundraising stalls and promotional events
• shopping centre displays
• sausage sizzles
• Million Paws Walk (May)
• RSPCA Cup Cake Day (August)
• RSPCA Quiz Nights (February, June)

You can volunteer for just one of these events whenever your schedule allows, or become part of a core event team, enabling you to take on additional responsibility and leadership.

Events internships for college and university students studying events management are available in the lead-up to larger events. Please contact us if you’d like to discuss an internship arrangement.

Your details will be added to our volunteer database and you will receive the monthly Volunteer Notice Board e-newsletter, enabling you to sign up for volunteer opportunities that may seem interesting and fit your schedule.

We may also contact you when we need for a volunteer with your specific expertise or experience, when we have opportunities in your geographical area.

You will be able to update your contact details via a link in the monthly e-newsletter.
