Join Australia’s leading animal welfare charity and help fight cruelty.

RSPCA WA is seeking a Program Officer to assist the Programs Manager with the day to day running and delivery of prevention programs at RSPCA WA.

The role will primarily be responsible for the delivery and administration components of the Pet Sterilisation Program (PSP) but may provide some support to all prevention programs including Community Action Days, Education and Pets in Crisis where required. This role will involve liaising with external parties, such as veterinary clinics and applicants to PSP.

Reporting to the Programs Manager, this role sits in the Prevention team in Animal and Enforcement Operations. The Prevention team looks to develop community-based strategy and programs that work to improve animal welfare and prevent cruelty. This role will be responsible for processing applications in the PSP program and managing the automation and administration as well as working with the clients and vet clinics enrolled in the program.

The application process for PSP will be managed in Salesforce so prior experience with this platform is desirable, but not essential as long as you are able to adapt quickly to new systems. The role is aimed at providing a good customer experience for the client accessing the program, as well as support for the veterinary clinics signed up to offer a service.

This role is being offered as a fixed term part-time role until 30 June 2025. The successful applicant will work 20 hours a week Monday - Friday from 9am - 2.30pm (or 8.30am - 2pm) with a half an hour break. Flexible arrangements will be considered for the right applicant.
